Dr. Nicholson received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Emory University. She completed both her Masters and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology - Chicago, where she received specialized trainingin clinical work with children and adolescents. Throughout her close to 15 year professional career, Dr. Nicholson has gained expensive experience evaluating and treating a diverse range of clinical concerns including mood and anxiety disorders, caregiver-child attachment styles, divorce, and blended family concerns and peer friendship difficulties. Dr. Nicholson integrates dynamic, systemic and developmental theories to guide her clinical practice.
